Terms of service
Last updated October 11, 2026. The rules for using Invoiste. Please read them. By using Invoiste you agree to them.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Invoiste ("we", "us") for the Invoiste website, the free invoice generator, the web app at invoiste.com/app, and the Invoiste mobile app (together, the "Service"). If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you can accept these terms for that business.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
- Give a real email address and confirm it with the code we send. Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.
3. What Invoiste does
Invoiste helps you create invoices and estimates, track jobs and expenses, keep client details, collect an estimate signature, ask for reviews, and use an AI assistant that prepares drafts. It is a tool for your business records. It does not collect payments for you today, and it does not send anything to your clients unless you choose to share it.
4. Your content
You own the information you put into Invoiste. You give us permission to store, process and display it so we can run the Service for you, including syncing it between your devices, creating the PDFs you ask for, and processing assistant requests. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to share your clients' details with us.
5. Using Invoiste properly
Do not use the Service to break the law, to send misleading or fraudulent invoices, to harass anyone, to upload harmful or illegal files, to try to break into or overload the Service, or to copy or resell the Service. We may suspend or end accounts that do.
6. Not professional advice
Invoiste is software, not an accountant, lawyer or tax adviser. Invoice contents, tax rates, payment terms and legal requirements for invoices, deposits and signatures differ by place. You are responsible for checking that your documents are correct and meet the rules that apply to you. The totals, tax and deposit figures that Invoiste calculates are based on what you enter.
7. The AI assistant
The assistant uses an AI model and can make mistakes. It creates drafts and changes in your own account based on what you ask. Always review what it creates before you send it. We limit how many assistant messages you can use each day. Do not rely on it for legal, tax or financial decisions.
8. Estimates and signatures
When you share an estimate for signing, anyone with the link can view it and sign it. Keep the link only with the people you intend. A signature collected through Invoiste is a drawn name and a timestamp. Whether it is enough for a legal agreement depends on your situation and local law, so check what you need.
9. The free invoice generator
The free invoice generator is offered as is. Each computer or internet connection can print or save up to 3 invoices in a 30-day period without an account. We may change or end this at any time.
10. Plans and fees
Invoiste is free to try. If we start charging, we will tell you the price and what is included before you are charged, and you will be able to cancel. Plans and prices shown in the app before launch are examples.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Invoiste and delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We can suspend or close an account if you break these terms or if we have to stop offering the Service. Deleting your account permanently removes your data, so export or save what you need first.
12. No guarantees
We work hard to keep Invoiste reliable, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or suit your needs, and we are not responsible for problems caused by things outside our control. Keep your own copies of important documents.
13. Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.
14. Changes
We may update the Service and these terms. If we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top and tell you where it makes sense. If you keep using Invoiste after a change, you accept it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Georgia will handle disputes, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
